BBC News - Councils in England and Wales need £10bn to fix potholes

Ten billion pounds !!!!?

More than two million potholes were filled in last year across England and Wales, according to the Asphalt Industry Alliance.

This year there has been a 59% increase in the number of potholes compared to last year and councils are being warned they need more than £10bn to fix the problem.

The BBC's Ed Thomas reports from Leeds.
